What is 'just a simple website?'
I'm often directed by clients to build them 'just a simple website' and it often ends in confusion and at times - conflict. From the client's perspective they require a project that will not cost the earth, will achieve their goals and be seemingly painless to build. From the creative professional perspective it's about the website being functionally powerful, easy to use and aesthetically pleasing yet clever enough to make it memorable. Funnily enough we both want the same thing but just in different words - so why does it get muddled?
