What’s on the menu?

It’s easy to get carried away with the almost endless things you can publish on a website. It’s critical however, that you make the correct choices based on what your restaurant’s audience needs and cut the fat. Here are some of the major things that should be on your website.

Full menus

Let them know what they can eat at your restaurant! Your website might be the prettiest one out of all your competitors, but if a potential customer can’t see if you’ll have what they’re craving, then the whole thing is pointless!

Effective web design for a restaurant or cafe

Web design for the food industry is generally a little more creative, fun, and funky than a lot of other industries. Image is very important in this game, so getting a website design right is critical.

Appeal to your intended clientele

You can never please all of the people all of the time, but you can please some of them. As with all good web designs, a clear targeted audience needs to be defined and designed for accordingly.

Using Social Media to Make People Hungry

Most restaurants, cafes, and food stores wouldn’t think twice about using social media as a advertising stream. My message to those is "wake up!"

I’ve seen a lot of businesses in my local city Brisbane fail to use social media properly, they usually use the medium to push as much advertising as possible to their followers, resulting in a high number of drop-outs. Give your social media page personality, interact with your followers, and advertise as minimal as possible are the key rules.
