Make your website work with you
Ok so you'll all be happy to know that my plant has survived. It goes to show that a little maintenance...well actually I should start this again.
So basically I took some of my dad's advice...thought about it for a few days...then acted upon it...oh and then forgot. So until a friend stepped in to overhaul and put my maintenance regime back on track, it was pretty much stumbling downhill toward plant doom.
This goes to show that maintaining a plant requires either a green thumb or total commitment. Ok, so now switch plant with your website and online pressence. Yes I'm comparing the two again...same same but different.
I've come to the realisation that the major reason maintaining something can be hard is that it doesn't fit into a daily schedule, 'a routine'.
Again only when something is made a priority do we act upon it.
Maintaining your website and online presence should however always be a priority. After all it's not just a plant, it's an investment. Website updates and web maintenance should fit in to your schedule.
But you're busy?
Make the website work with you, your business operations and process. Customise the system to suit your technical capabilities, the way you think and the way the business operates. By tailoring the functionality to your needs, web maintenance is made easier, less of a hassle and second nature.
Ok, so now the question is how do I tailor watering my plant to suit my lifestyle...hmm
